I have their drivers installed, but I don't think that is what is making my ps3 guitar work. If all else fails you might want to check with Motioninjoy. If you can not still get your ps3 guitar to work by using it to start world tour (No touching the keyboard) then something else is wrong, as the guitar will work fine in world tour with nothing extra. No idea why Aspyr did not fix this, but the are a console company so you can't expect them to get to make to much a effort. Guitar hero legends of Rock will not fully use the ps3 guitar without xpadder.
Guitar Hero World Tour supports the Ps3 guitar out of the box. (NO XPADDER) You must start the game with the guitar though. I also have guitar Hero world tour and if you start the game with the normal ps3 guitar it works fine for me. Vista does recognize the controller as a Ps3 guitar controller. I tried to install either the game on windows 7 and the ps3 controllers on another pc, and all works good.ĭo you know if it could be a drivers problems?ĭoes the PS3 controllers - guitars works on windows? PS3 controllers are recognised by windows vista sp2 and through xpadder I configure controllers in right way but when I plug the controllers the game crashes. I'm able to play with keyboards, but not with the ps3 guitars. When I try to play with PS3 controllers-guitar, GUITAR HERO crashes and turn back to vista. The installation process works fine, and if I start the game no problems occur. I found this problem when trying to play with GUITAR HERO WORLD TOUR for pc.
